Crackling noises in the ear. ?
I have bad crackling noises in my ears, like a popping type this happens when i move my head, facial muscles, jaw or on its own. Hear it mostly at night when I am trying to sleep. It starting to give me a raw pain on the side of my head too. Its not Tinnitus and have been reading that it could be related to a cold. I have had blocked sinuses for a long long time, what can I do to get rid of the crackling its horibble!

What I do is use a nasal irrigation solution called “SaltAire Nasal Sinus Wash” or “SaltAire Sinus Relief” which can be found in most major drug stores. You use it twice a day to flush out your nasal passages.
There are also several homemade “saline nasal rinse” combinations you can find online too, but use filtered or distilled water, not tap water, and non-iodized salt. One recipe can be found here:

Saline rinses have worked wonders for me. I hope it works for you, too. That crackling noice is just annoying.
