Restored Hearing Tinnitus
whats happened to my ears?
although i suffer from Tinnitus over the last few days this has got worse and my hearing seems to be affected. people seem to be talking from a long way off and . about 8yrs ago i had an operation to restore hearing in one ear , but am still deaf in the other . the problem seems to be centred around the good ear my doctor says the tubes could be inflamed and to take antiflammatry tablets . i feel as though i am losing my hearing altogether he says there is no sign of infection . i had a similiar thing a few weeks ago and it passed off in a couple of days but this is much worse . any advice would be most grateful.
I agree. Go back to your doctor and ask for a referral to your ENT department. Even if it clears up again, you want to see a specialist and get things sorted out.
