High pitched ringing ears is probably one of most well known symptoms of tinnitus, and many people actually call it ”ringing ears”. However, it is not the only way this condition manifests itself. Bear in mind that the noises from tinnitus are internal (inside the ear).

Likewise, how loud the sounds are for the sufferer can change too. A lot of people perceive their tinnitus to be worse at night time. While this is true in some cases, in most however, although it seems like it is louder it is usually because there is less background noise around which means the tinnitus sounds are much more prominent. For this reason background noise such as a radio or TV can help to get temporary relief at night.

Often, the problem can go away on its own. Some folks even report that they can hear the noises for an hour or so per day. This is especially common after listening to loud music or attending a concert or festival. However, in others the problem remains or continues to come back again and again even when they have not been exposed to anything excessively loud. This can be just as frustrating as having it constantly as it is harder to adjust to it and you never know when it may happen.

Contrary to popular belief however, there are many tinnitus cures, and in a lot of cases you can get rid of high pitched ringing ears in several ways, all of which are quite simple. You shouldnt have to suffer without reason and there is no need to give up hope.
